New Chairman Elected to Cato Manor Board of Directors
The Cato Manor Development Association has pleasure in announcing that Mr Willies Mchunu was elected as Chairman of the CMDA Board of Directors at its 1999 Annual General Meeting.  Prof. Peter Robinson, who has been the CMDA’s Chairman since 1993 stepped down in favour of  Mr Mchunu who has been vice-chairman since July 1997.  Prof Robinson was in turn elected into the vice-Chairman position.  The move has been welcomed by the members of the Cato Manor Development Association, the Board and staff.  Prof Robinson is acclaimed for having successfully steered the Cato Manor Development Project since its inception with a high degree of integrity, wisdom and commitment,


whilst Mr Mchunu, Deputy Speaker of the KwaZulu Natal Provincial Legislature, is highly recognised for his expertise and leadership skills.

The Cato Manor Development Project is a Lead Presidential Project of the RDP and is funded by the European Union to the tune of R150 million.
